Boho, but Make It Tailored
Peasant sleeves and a boho style have long dominated the market for plus size fashion. These loose fabrics are comfortable, swishy, leave room for fluctuation in weight, and — if you’re looking for something a little more concealing, they can provide that. But the rising plus size fashion trends are all about flaunting what you’ve got, and the boho design is finally catching up. Right now, you’ll see peasant blouses that are a little more tailored, and combined with form-fitting high waisted pants. Much like ponchos, the contrast makes the look. It’s also great for pear-shaped figures, adding volume up top while accentuating the lower curves.
Bright Colors
Captivate attention with bright color blocking. This is a trend that’s perfect year round. In spring and summer, pastels and bright, sunny colors reign. Now that it’s fall, it’s time to break out the oranges, the reds, the yellows and even some deep earth tones. Even in winter, you can add a pop of color to the otherwise white scenery.
