This celebrity comedy power couple met when Rhea Perlman saw Danny DeVito in a performance of The Shrinking Blade in 1971. They moved in together two weeks later. Eleven years later they were married, and remain so today. Despite playing Matilda’s horrible parents in the movie of the same title, in real life, they took care of leading actress Mara Wilson when her mother passed away due to cancer.
Will & Jada Pinkett Smith
Though Will and Jada Pinkett Smith do a good job of keeping their personal life private, their marriage is a famous one. They met in 1994, on the set of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Though Jada did not get the part, the two began dating and were married in 2001. They have two children together: Jaden and Willow Smith, both of whom have had acting careers of their own. They’ve even inspired a meme, based on a photo in which Will gestured with hands outstretched and a showcasing expression towards Jada’s stunning look on the red carpet.
Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks is often known as “America’s Dad,” and his marriage with Rita Wilson is certainly one to look up to. They met on an ABC TV series, Bosom Buddies, as early as 1981. Though Bosom Buddies faded into obscurity eventually, their relationship did not. By 1988, they were married. Both have carried on successful careers as actors, but they remain adorable in their healthy, admirable marriage.
