Wedding fashion trends will change from year to year. Wedding gown designers enjoy adopting current fashion trends and transferring those ideas into wedding gowns. As we move into the new year, let’s talk about some new 2026 bridal trends.
Bows
Bows have been a trend in bridal fashion like florals, pearls, and lace. In 2026, we will see designers embrace bigger bows and use bows in ways we may not have seen. The bows on the gowns will be used as a statement piece, drawing the eye to a specific area of the gown.
Multiple tiny bows are also trending. At Fan C Designs, we have a ballgown with a bow at the front available in Light Ivory and White. Another design we offer is an A-Line with straps and a bow in the front with a corseted back. This style is available in Ivory and White.
Shimmering Embellishments
Designers have been releasing fully bejeweled collections with more embellishments than we’ve seen the last few years. Fabrics covered in glitter, sequins, rhinestones, pearls, and appliqued gems are being seen more in 2026. If you’re looking to wear a gown like this, consider our design
Fan C Designs offers a strapless A-Line gown with silver embellishments on the top and skirt of the gown. The gown is available in Ivory, Light Ivory, and White. More subtle embellishments are used in style WON-13804; gems are on the top and on the belt. The gown is available in Ivory and White.
Layered Lace
Layered lace is a trend that takes the classic lace design and makes it modern by using newer techniques. Stacking over embroidered tulle, using intricate patterns and appliqués that catch the light in a unique way will highlight your gown as you’re walking down the aisle.
Layered lace is a way to combine a traditional bridal style with a modern romantic look. Our design uses layered lace with tulle throughout the gown. This style is available in Ivory, Light Ivory, and White.
Decorative Buttons
Buttons are not only useful for their primary function, but they can also be used for decoration. Multiple buttons across the front or back of the dress can be used as a style choice as well as a functional one. Decorative buttons can be used either on the front and/or the back of the gown. Style has decorative buttons and is available in light ivory and white.
Big Ballgowns
The classic ball-gown is back in a big way. Designers are now using petticoats to create extra volume and using a topper for a more conservative look walking down the aisle. Our collection includes a simple ballgown with belt and floral top with lace along the skirt. This style comes in ivory and light ivory.
No matter what trend you choose, feel comfortable in your choice both in style and price. Check out our bridal collection if you’re in the market for a wedding dress.
